I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC III), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner  (EEM-CP). I have a Master's degree from the University of Colorado Denver in Counseling and Counselor Education with a focus in Marriage and Family Counseling.  While I work with people of all ages, I have extensive experience working with teenagers, and I specialize in addiction counseling with adolescents and young adults.

I have a Reality Therapy and Choice Theory background which recognizes that we all have five basic needs which we are consciously or unconsciously are trying to meet. This approach empowers the client to identify what they want, do what is in their control to change situations, and alter behaviors that are not working for them.
